In partnership with DCR and the Urban & Community Forestry Program, Greening the Gateway Cities has been providing free trees in urban communities throughout Massachusetts under the MA Urban Canopy Project. One Federal Street just happens to fall under the planting zone in Springfield eligible for free trees! A very big thank you to Greening the Gateway Cities of Springfield for our many free trees that were recently planted this spring.
You can see these newly planted trees along all 4 belt lines of Federal, Lincoln, Magazine, and State Street.
